DAY 01: ARRIVE MUSCAT (OMAN)

Welcome to Oman. Arrive at Muscat airport and transfer to your hotel. On arrival check in to your hotel.

DAY 02: MUSCAT-HALF DAY CITY TOUR

After breakfast, proceed for half-day sightseeing tour around Muscat, the capital of Oman. Soak up the Arabic atmosphere and explore the city where the ancient architecture and monuments are combined with the modern life.  Our first stop will be Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, which is truly a masterpiece of the world architecture. It took 6 years to erect it and in 2001 it was successfully opened. This mosque is a traditional light Islamic building made from sandstone and marble. It has got 5 minarets – one main and 4 side minarets which create a special distinctive look. Later visit the Royal Opera House – the pearl of the Oman musical and stage art.  Muttrah Souq – the market is located right at the banks of the Gulf of Oman. An perfect place to witness the ordinary life of people of Oman. Afterwards visit the Mutrah fort. The fort leads its history at 1580s when the Portuguese had built it. It served as a military defense from the rivals in the past, but today it’s open for tourists.    Lasltly visit the Al Alam Palace — the residence of Sultan Qaboos. From both sides the forts surround the palace, so you’ll likely enjoy the magnificent scenery. Located in the center of the city, it always attracts a lot of visitors and, although, people are not allowed to go in, they can easily go around and take cool photos.

DAY 03: MUSCAT-BIMMAH SINKHOLE/ WADI SHAB / RAS AL JINZ

Today we start our journey from Muscat towards the East Coast and have our first stop at Bimmah sinkhole. Have a short swim here and lead to the entrance of Wadi Shab .  Here, after crossing the lake on a board of small ferry, we start hiking in Wadi Shab. It is an easy hike leading us to the beautiful fresh pools where we can enjoy swimming to the hidden cavern with waterfall.. By evening we arrive at our hotel and have our dinner. After dinner, we will lead to Turtle Reserve to witness the unique moments of turtle's lives - lying their eggs at the wild beach.

DAY 04: WADI BANI KHALID / WAHIBA SANDS

This morning post breakfast we first head to Sur for a short sightseeing tour including Dhow building yard, Light house and a beautiful city cornice. Later we drive to Wadi Bani Khalid.

Enjoy a relaxing siesta in the shade of the palm trees, with a nice cool breeze from the mountains and catch a glimpse of the pretty villages scattered across the slopes of the Wadi. Don’t forget to carry your swimming costume to take a refreshing dip in fresh deep pools and explore the hidden Mukal Cave. After tasty lunch in the Wadi, we then drive to Bidiya village.

Make your way to the Wahiba Sands to see the traditional homes of the desert nomads and Bedouin tribes. Wahiba truly impresses the first time visitors with its shifting sand dunes and changing colors. After spending some time with the family and enjoying Omani coffee and dates, we ride camels. In the evening we drive to watch sunset from the dunes capture these moments with some amazing photographs.

DAY 05: WAHIBA SAND / MUSCAT-DEPARTURE

After breakfast today, your tour ends with transfer to the Muscat airport in time to board your flight for onward destination.
