Karnataka Golden Triangle (5 Nights /6 Days)

Day 1: Arrive Bangalore

On arrival at Bangalore airport, met & transferred to hotel.

Bangalore, India’s sixth largest city is known as the Garden City because of its countless parks and tree-lined avenues. It was founded in 1537 by a local chieftain called Kempe Gowda, and later extended by Tipu Sultan, the Wodeyars of Mysore and the British. Set at an altitude of over 1000 m, the climate adds to the attractions of this city, now famous as the Silicon Valley of India.

Day 2: Bangalore / Mysore

After breakfast a sightseeing tour of the city visiting Lal Bagh - One of the many gardens in the city; it derives its name from the profusion of Red roses which are in bloom here, Cubbon Park - a garden laid down by Lord Cubbon in 1864. The ambience of the city life is broken with presence of such a large park in the center of the city. The Bull Temple - The 4.57 m high and 6.10 meters long image is carved out of single granite rock, Bangalore Palace - Built in the Tudor style and inspired by the Windsor palace, Vidhan Soudha - the Vidhan Soudha houses the state legislative assembly of state government, Tipu’s Palace - The summer palace of Tipu Sultan.

Afternoon drive to Mysore, approx 160 kms, 3 hrs drive.

Mysore, the city of palaces, is also called Mysuru and is the second largest city in Karnataka. The city was earlier the capital of the Wodeyar rulers. The Wodeyar rulers were great patrons of art and culture, which you can see in the rich heritage of the city. On arrival check in at the hotel.

Day 3: Mysore

In the morning leave your bed early and after taking a quick breakfast, head to a city tour of Mysore. Stop midway to visit Srirangapatna and the Kesava temple at Somnathpur. The city is a house for some of the most spectacular monuments. Soon after visiting Srirangapatna, drive back to the hotel for lunch.

Later in the afternoon move out to visit the major attractions of Mysore covering the Golden Royal Elephant, the Mysore Palace, built in 1911-12 in Indo-Saracenic style with domes, turrets, arches and colonnades, the Palace is a treasure house of exquisite carvings and works of art from all over the world., Chamundeshwari temple from here you have a panoramic view of Mysore. On your way back, see the 5 m high Nandi Bull carved out of solid rock in 1659. Also visit the St. Philomenas Church, built in the Gothic style and is one of the largest churches of the country

In the evening visit to the Brindavan Gardens.

Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 4: Mysore / Ooty

After breakfast depart to Ootacamund [Ooty] also known as Queen of Hill Station.

On arrival check-in at the hotel

Afternoon visit Rose Garden, Botanical Garden & famous Lake where you could go on a Boat ride using pedals  (Boat ride on direct payment basis)

Overnight at the hotel

Day 5: Ooty

After breakfast day at leisure to enjoy the greenery, cool climate & fruit gardens.

Day 6: Ooty / Bangalore -Depart Bangalore

After breakfast, proceed to Bangalore.

On arrival in Bangalore free time for some last minute shopping

Evening you will be transferred to the Airport in time to board your flight for onward destination
